Your workplace

Welcome to our sustainable restaurant on the green De Reehorst estate in Driebergen, commissioned by Triodos. Discover our innovative menus with a focus on plant-based and organic dishes (60% plant-based, 35% vegetarian, 5% meat/fish). Enjoy delicious coffee and homemade delicacies in our barista bar. As a corporate venue, we mainly welcome business guests, including Triodos staff. With an average of 400 lunch visitors per day, we offer a vibrant atmosphere. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 15:30, with opportunities for evening events.

Your team

This friendly team consists of 11 employees who together ensure that our guests lack for nothing. The hospitality manager directs them where necessary and is ultimately responsible for the location.

Your job

At Vermaat, you literally and figuratively showcase your recipe. We work with menu cycles, but you have plenty of freedom to present your own recipes. We love to give space to your ideas, flavors, and recipes. Whether it's a luxury sandwich, a crispy salad, a fresh smoothie, or a delicious hot dish, you create something beautiful and tasty. Every day, you challenge yourself to offer guests variety with creativity, attention to detail, and knowledge of different cuisines. You are constantly vigilant about the quality of the products leaving the kitchen. Want to grow in your role? Develop yourself with all the possible training and courses through our online academy.

Your ingredients

  • You have 1 to 2 years of kitchen experience; whether it's a traditional Dutch stamppot or a Thai curry, you can conceive and create it!
  • You can work independently and take the lead when necessary.
  • Regulations regarding HACCP, occupational health, and safety hold no secrets for you.
  • We can describe you as a go-getter. By this, we mean that you maintain your pace even in busy times.
