You will be working in the company restaurant, where we serve a fresh, healthy, and surprising lunch every day for a diverse group of professionals.

The restaurant is modern and spacious, featuring an open kitchen and a sustainable look and feel. Our guests appreciate the personal attention, great coffee, and focus on healthy food. We also regularly provide banqueting services for meetings and events. This location is part of the Join Program: a select group of high-performance sites where growth, quality, and collaboration are key.

Team

You’ll be joining an enthusiastic and close-knit team where teamwork and hospitality are at the heart of everything we do. With a team of three colleagues, we make sure everything runs smoothly—from kitchen prep to service on the floor. We follow a set daily structure, but there’s plenty of room for your own initiative and ideas.

Your job

As Sous chef at Siemens & Worley, Den Haag, you literally and figuratively showcase your recipe. You work according to our unique food concepts, which means you strike a perfect balance between working within established guidelines and showcasing your own creativity. Every day, you challenge yourself to surprise guests with varied dishes, prepared with attention to detail and inspired by different cuisines.

You maintain the quality of everything that leaves the kitchen and keep a sharp eye on details. Additionally, you are responsible for the administrative aspects of the kitchen. You ensure that HACCP guidelines are followed, orders are placed on time, and allergens are properly accounted for.

Unlike other chef positions, at Join Program, you don't have to work weekends! We are also generally closed in the evenings.

Your ingredients

  • The kitchen is your domain, and over the past few years, you’ve developed into an experienced Sous chef. You feel at home in a dynamic environment where quality, creativity, and speed come together;
  • You work independently and take the initiative to lead when necessary;
  • HACCP, health and safety regulations are familiar territory for you, and you ensure everything is done according to the rules;
  • Even during peak times, you maintain both pace and quality;
  • With your innovative ideas, you continually surprise guests with delicious dishes;
  • At Join Program, you use your culinary talent to make an impact. Together, we create an unforgettable experience in the workplace!
