Your workplace

Located in the green landscape with its distinctive windmills is Inditex, an international fashion icon with well-known brands such as Zara and Massimo Dutti. An impressive location that is constantly developing and currently expanding. The restaurant always looks neat and freshly prepared international dishes are provided. We welcome 500-700 business guests and warehouse staff daily, with opening hours Monday to Sunday between 07:00 and 22:00. Shifts naturally consist of 2 shifts.

Your team

The team exudes hospitality and togetherness, a pleasant team atmosphere where fun and professionalism come together. A close-knit team of 10 employees, driven to work together and give every guest an unforgettable experience. We also work together with schools in the area so there is often a trainee present to keep team members on their toes with fresh young eyes! Social return is also not unknown at Vermaat and in this, Inditex is no exception.

Your job

In this role, you will be ultimately responsible for the kitchen. You will be given a completely free hand in the kitchen. Room for your creativity is definitely guaranteed. You can also apply trends in the food field (which you actively follow, of course) in this kitchen, because we only welcome renewal and innovation. You really help to establish the concept and monitor the quality of everything that leaves the kitchen.

Together with your colleagues, you will really form a team. You lead the kitchen brigade, take care of administration, do the shopping and make the schedules. Both culinary and organisational, you are the indispensable link in the kitchen. You share your love of cooking with the team and encourage them to be creative too. You also bring an overview and calm to the kitchen.

Your ingredients

  • You have experience in managing a kitchen brigade.
  • You have good knowledge of allergies, dietary requirements, food trends and preparation times, and know how to put this knowledge to practical use.
  • You have knowledge of HACCP, health and safety regulations.
  • You know what is going on in the world of food and drink and like to translate developments and innovations to your kitchen.
  • You prefer to work with a lot of freedom and your own input and ideas (your 'personal touch').
