Your job

As a Sous-Chef at regio, you support the head chef in the daily management of the kitchen team and ensure the quality of the dishes. You play a crucial role in the kitchen by ensuring everything runs smoothly, even during busy periods.

You are responsible for coordinating the preparation and cooking of dishes, closely monitoring presentation, taste, and quality. When the head chef is absent, you take charge and ensure the kitchen operates efficiently. Additionally, you actively contribute to adhering to hygiene and safety regulations and work on optimizing kitchen processes.

As a sous chef, you play an important role in training and guiding the kitchen team, ensuring good collaboration between the kitchen and service staff. Your passion for cooking and leadership skills help make every shift a success, maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.

Your ingredients

  • You have a relevant, completed culinary education at the MBO level and at least 3 to 5 years of experience in renowned restaurants.
  • You have experience leading a kitchen brigade.
  • You possess strong knowledge of allergies, dietary preferences, food trends, and preparation times, and you know how to apply this knowledge effectively in practice.
  • You are knowledgeable about regulations related to HACCP, occupational health (Arbo), and safety.
  • You stay up-to-date with trends in the food and beverage industry and enjoy translating developments and innovations into your kitchen.
  • You prefer to work with a high degree of freedom, input, and ideas.
