Each year, the Amsterdam RAI hosts over 50 international conferences, 70 (trade) fairs, events, and more than a thousand smaller conferences. Within the RAI, there are 12 dining venues, including 2 La Place restaurants. Here, you and your colleagues ensure that approximately 1,000 guests are served a delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner daily.

During the summer months (holiday period), this location is quieter due to fewer events. But don’t worry about your hours—La Place RAI has strong connections with other Vermaat-affiliated organizations. In consultation with you, you can work shifts at locations such as the ZiggoDome or even Artis.

Your job

Imagine this: it’s Friday and after doing some study work first, you go to La Place to start your shift at 11.30. Ofcourse you will catch up with your colleagues first and then you're ready to go. You could be busy clearing the tables and tidying up the buffet or you are making our signature sandwich, mixing a smoothie or serving a salad. During peak restaurant hours, you manage to keep the buffet well-stocked and inviting. You make sure the guests have an amazing experience.

Your ingredients

  • You always go the extra mile. Especially when it comes to service.
  • You enjoy providing guests with a tasty lunch and making sure they have a lovely day.
  • You are available to work at least one weekday and one day on the weekends.
