Independent working cook Huawei

You’ll be part of a large and close-knit team of around 25–28 colleagues, led by hospitality manager Siu. It’s an international team, so English is regularly spoken in the workplace. Teamwork, enjoyment, and professionalism are at the heart of everything we do.

As a Independent Working Cook at Huawei, Rijswijk, you literally and figuratively showcase your recipe. At Vermaat, we work with food concepts, which means you work within the frameworks set, but also have the freedom to show your recipes. Every day, you challenge yourself to offer guests variety with creativity, attention to detail, and knowledge of different cuisines. You are constantly vigilant about the quality of the dishes leaving the kitchen. You are also responsible for the administrative part of the kitchen. This includes ensuring HACCP compliance, timely ordering, and accurately mapping allergens.

• The kitchen is your domain. Over the past few years, you have developed into an independent working chef;
• You can work independently and take the lead when necessary;
• Regulations in the areas of HACCP, occupational health and safety hold no secrets for you;
• You know how to get things done. This means you can keep up the pace during busy times while maintaining high quality;
• With your creativity, you manage to surprise guests time and again;
• You can provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) upon request.
