Infinity, formerly known as ING House, is an iconic and sustainable office building located in Amsterdam’s Zuidas district. Designed by Meyer and Van Schooten, its unique shape—often compared to a shoe or a flat iron—rests on 16 angled steel legs. Today, it serves as a modern multi-tenant office space.
Within this building, Vermaat Group operates corporate restaurants for leading organizations such as IMC (a trading firm), Simon-Kucher (a marketing consultancy), and Lexence (a law and notary firm). On the 3rd, 6th, and 8th floors, we offer a wide selection of fresh, healthy, and sustainable meals. The 3rd floor also features a stylish espresso bar where guests can enjoy an exceptional cup of coffee. Each day, over 450 employees and visitors make use of our hospitality services.
We work exclusively with premium suppliers such as Lindenhoff, Vanille Ventura, and Food to Impress, allowing us to cook with the freshest, most honest, and flavorful ingredients. Our kitchen is fully artisanal—from sauces to pastries, everything is lovingly made in-house with care and passion.
As a chef, you are the face of our open kitchen. You’ll work in an environment where hospitality, experience, and quality take center stage. You’ll engage directly with our guests and play an active role in delivering a unique culinary experience at one of the most dynamic locations in the Netherlands.
As a Independently working cook at Infinity, Amsterdam, you literally and figuratively showcase your recipe. At Vermaat, we work with food concepts, which means you work within the frameworks set, but also have the freedom to show your recipes. Every day, you challenge yourself to offer guests variety with creativity, attention to detail, and knowledge of different cuisines. You are constantly vigilant about the quality of the dishes leaving the kitchen. You are also responsible for the administrative part of the kitchen. This includes ensuring HACCP compliance, timely ordering, and accurately mapping allergens.
