Your workplace

Do you have a passion for coffee and enjoy interacting with people? Then come work at Longhouse Café, located in the heart of the KPMG office in Amstelveen. The location is right next to the A9 motorway and is also easily accessible by public transport. Each day, you will welcome between 100 and 200 guests and work primarily during the day from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Your team

You will work as part of a small team, together responsible for preparing the finest coffee and tea. You will also be part of a larger team of approximately 25 colleagues, so you'll never be on your own. You will maintain a clean and welcoming coffee corner where everyone feels at home. In addition, you will serve as a point of contact for guests, answer questions, and ensure they have an enjoyable experience.

Your job

As a Hospitality manager at Receptie Longhouse, Amstelveen, you are responsible for the operational processes and ensuring the food concept at Receptie Longhouse, Amstelveen. You focus on three things: a motivated team, an attractive restaurant, and the ultimate hospitality experience. You bring the location to life because you are the ambassador of the restaurant and you share your enthusiasm with your team.

  • Improve your assortment;
  • Achieve commercial and financial objectives;
  • Timely process administrative tasks.

In the role of Hospitality manager, you are the face of Receptie Longhouse, Amstelveen. You are familiar with budget-driven work, personnel management, and commercial thinking. Everyone knows where to find you; whether it’s the customer, the guests, or the team. You know better than anyone how to translate the Vermaat hospitality concept within Receptie Longhouse, Amstelveen into a successful operation. Because you are often on the floor, you know exactly what the needs are and you can easily respond to them. You are a manager with an eye for your team members, and developing them gives you energy!

  • With your knowledge and creativity, you know how to respond well to the needs of the client and guests, and you are constantly looking for innovation and development;
  • You can provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) upon request.
