Your job

As a hospitality manager, you bear responsibility for the operational processes. You manage three things: a motivated team, an attractive restaurant and the ultimate hospitality experience for your guest. Because of you, the location comes alive, as you are the restaurant's ambassador and draw your team into your enthusiasm. Furthermore, you ensure that:

  • The guest experience is taken to the next level.
  • The product range continues to improve.
  • The commercial and financial objectives are met.
  • The administrative work is done on time, by you or one of the floor managers.

In the role of hospitality manager, you are the face of one of our Schiphol locations and all aspects of the entrepreneurial profession: budget-driven work, personnel management and commercial thinking hold no secrets for you. Whether it concerns the guests or the team, everyone knows where to find you. Like no other, you know how to translate the concept to our guests. Because you are often to be found on the floor, you know exactly what is going on and can easily respond. You are a real people manager. Grow your team members? That gives you energy.

Your ingredients

  • You are no longer a rookie, nor can you be, because you carry a lot of responsibility. You have at least 3 years' experience as a hospitality manager and now want to move to a bigger location.
  • You are a natural at leading and know how to enthuse your colleagues.
  • You have a great sense of responsibility which ensures that the location functions optimally, that you create a pleasant working atmosphere in which employees know what to do and that the commercial objectives are achieved.
  • You have an overview of your shop's quantitative performance; turnover, labour costs, loss and margins.
  • You excel commercially and financially and know better than anyone how to manage a team
  • You know how to use your knowledge and creativity to respond to the different guests and are constantly looking for innovation and development.
  • You are willing to work evenings and weekends.
