"The Bar" is situated in the departure hall at Eindhoven Airport! It features a multifunctional concept where every departing guest can unwind before their flight with a delicious meal and/or a drink, accompanied by a tasty piece of homemade cake. Vegan and vegetarian guests are also warmly welcomed. Approximately 12,000 passengers depart daily, and a significant number of them make use of The Bar. The Bar is open 7 days a week, from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Together with your team, you’ll be providing them with delicious food, drinks, and a warm welcome, in an environment where you feel truly at home and part of a family.

Your job

As Horeca employee at The Bar, Eindhoven, you are the shining face of our business! Every day, you meet travelers from all corners of the world, making your work an adventure. You welcome our guests with a friendly smile and ensure their orders are prepared quickly and perfectly. In the dynamic atmosphere of the airport, you remain calm and service-oriented, even during busy times. With your enthusiasm and hospitality, you provide every guest with that unforgettable wow factor that gives their journey that extra special touch!

A glimpse of your responsibilities:

  • You handle payments for orders and ensure accurate processing of transactions;
  • Together with your colleagues, you monitor stock levels and ensure everything is always well-stocked;
  • A clean workspace is essential, especially in a busy location like Schiphol. You ensure everything looks tidy and that our kitchen and work areas comply with all hygiene guidelines.

Your ingredients

  • You have a hospitable mindset and take satisfaction in making guests happy;
  • You have a good command of both Dutch and English;
  • You are flexible and adaptable;
  • You enjoy working in a team and assist your colleagues when needed;
  • You are energized by the (international) atmosphere at the airport.
