KPMG, a major international accounting firm, has been around for more than a century. Its roots were shot in 1917 on the Herengracht and the company has now grown to 12 offices in the Netherlands, part of a global network. Of course, a delicious Caramel Latte Macchiato is part of that! We are creative when it comes to preparing new dishes, vegan lovers can find something of their choice every day.

Vermaat has multiple outlets at this beautiful high-end location of KPMG Amstelveen, including:

2 restaurants
Full service espresso bar
Piaggio espresso cart

Our larger restaurant welcomes between 600 and 900 guests daily, while the other restaurant is cosy and green, with small high bars and lots of plants, perfect for 200 to 300 guests. Linda's our coffee bar is a picture to behold, instaperfect you could call it, here too there is a lot of greenery and lots of little spots to confer with a delicious cup of coffee.
We also organise banqueting for KPMG's 90 meeting rooms, which makes for a vibrant working environment. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 20:00. Parking is plentiful in our underground garage, and public transport stops nearby. Prefer to come by bike? Our bicycle parking is waiting for you!

Your team

The team at KPMG Amstelveen is buzzing with energy; it is a pleasant mix of permanent and temporary employees. Together, we form a close-knit club of 20-30 colleagues, divided between two restaurants and two coffee corners. Everyone works together to make every day a special one for our guests!

Your job

“Good morning!” You woke up on the right side of the bed and are eager to get started. As a Horeca employee at KPMG, Amstelveen, you make the restaurant 100% ready for one of the most important moments of the day. You help prepare all the dishes and drinks your guests are looking forward to.

Then it’s mealtime. You welcome the guests in a hospitable manner, as only you can. This allows you to personalize your service! And even better; the guests know you by now too.

After mealtime, you get to work cleaning up and preparing for the rest of the day and tomorrow. Additionally, you make (meeting) people happy with a cup of coffee, a snack, or a drink. Thanks to your friendly service, everyone is very satisfied, and you can go home with a fulfilled feeling.

Your ingredients

Ideally, you already have some hospitality experience, but even as an emerging talent, you are welcome with us. You feel at home in the hospitality industry;
You know that working in hospitality can be physically demanding;
You always go the extra mile, especially when it comes to hospitality and service;
Love goes through the stomach when it comes to food and drinks;
At Vermaat, safety is fundamental. Our guests can count on a food-safe environment because you take it seriously every day;
You can provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) upon request.
