Your workplace

You work in the heart of Amsterdam, where a wide variety of guests drop by. Managing expectations is therefore crucial, but makes the work enormously fun and challenging. In summer, we have a large terrace where guests can order delicious bites and dishes while sipping cocktails. In winter, Rouhi is really a destination for guests and we focus on menus and high quality service and dishes. 
We are in House of Rituals and have an excellent partnership with Rituals. Besides our regular guests, we serve lunch and dinner for guests who have just had a treatment or prepare dinners for 10 to 80 people who have just come from a meeting. So we are at home in all markets. 

Your team

The Rouhi team is a big family, where everyone is heard. We help each other where necessary and do not hesitate to step outside our comfort zone to help colleagues. For instance, the kitchen staff sometimes serves food and the service team helps finish dishes. Nothing is left unsaid and fairness is high on our list of priorities. 

Your job

As a Horeca employee at House of Rituals, Amsterdam, you are an essential link in the daily operation. You are the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcome from the moment they arrive. With a friendly and hospitable attitude, you take orders, serve drinks and dishes, and ensure payments are processed correctly.

Additionally, you contribute to creating a clean and pleasant environment where guests can enjoy their time with us. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that everything runs smoothly and that our guests have a positive experience.

You are part of a close-knit team and work flexibly together to deliver consistent, high-quality service, regardless of the busyness or circumstances.

Your ingredients

  • Ideally, you have some experience in the hospitality industry, but even as an emerging talent, you are welcome here. You definitely feel at home in hospitality.
  • You know that working in hospitality can be physically demanding.
  • You always go the extra mile, especially when it comes to hospitality and service.
  • Love goes through the stomach when it comes to food and drink.
  • At Vermaat, safety is fundamental. Our guests can count on a food-safe environment because you take it seriously every day.
  • You can provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) upon request.
