You're going to work for one of Vermaat's newest clients in Amsterdam—and what a client it is! At this leading consultancy firm, you'll be part of an exciting new concept that takes everyone's needs into account. As a Vermaat team member, you'll be fully integrated into the company culture, with invitations to social events and team outings. We're rolling out the new concept in phases, leading up to a full renovation! Big changes are on the horizon, and we could really use your help to make it all happen!

As a Head chef at this tech location, you literally and figuratively showcase your recipe. We work with a food concept, which means you operate within set frameworks but also have the freedom to present your own creations. Every day, you challenge yourself to offer guests variety through creativity, attention to detail, and knowledge of different cuisines. You stay sharp when it comes to the quality of the dishes leaving the kitchen.
You’re also responsible for the administrative side of the kitchen. This includes ensuring HACCP compliance, placing orders on time, and accurately mapping allergens.
Because you work as a Head chef in corporate catering, you know better than anyone what your guests want to see on the menu. You speak with them, see them, and hear them! As a Head chef, you work closely with management to develop new culinary concepts and continuously improve the guest experience. Your creativity, leadership skills, and passion for cooking ensure our kitchen consistently performs at a high level.
The kitchen is your domain. Over the past few years, you’ve grown into a fully-fledged chef and have demonstrated this in at least 3 years of;
You know how to lead your team in a coaching manner—because true progress only happens together;
Regulations regarding HACCP, occupational health, and safety hold no secrets for you;
You know how to get things done. By this, we mean you keep up the pace during busy times while consistently maintaining high quality;
With your creativity, you continuously surprise both the guests and yourself;
You are able to provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) upon request.
