Your workplace

"The Bar" is situated in the departure hall at Eindhoven Airport! It features a multifunctional concept where every departing guest can unwind before their flight with a delicious meal and/or a drink, accompanied by a tasty piece of homemade cake. Vegan and vegetarian guests are also warmly welcomed. Approximately 12,000 passengers depart daily, and a significant number of them make use of The Bar. The Bar is open 7 days a week, from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Together with your team, you’ll be providing them with delicious food, drinks, and a warm welcome, in an environment where you feel truly at home and part of a family.

Your job

As Floormanager at The Bar, Eindhoven, you are the inspiring force that motivates your team to bring out their best every day. You create a positive work environment where everyone enjoys their job and ensure a hospitable, smooth service that delights our guests. You always keep an overview, even amidst the hustle and bustle of the airport, making sure everything runs smoothly. From creating schedules to solving on-the-floor challenges, you manage it all. With your eye for quality and hospitality, you make every interaction special and ensure every guest leaves with a smile.

A glimpse of your responsibilities:

  • Vision on excellent hosting and hospitality;
  • Administrative tasks and orders;
  • Participating in operations when needed;
  • Brainstorming on actions to attract more guests and improve the product range.

Your ingredients

  • You already have experience in the hospitality industry and know how to lead a team;
  • You ensure every guest leaves with a smile;
  • You are flexible and adaptable;
  • You can quickly and efficiently respond to unexpected situations;
  • You have a good command of both Dutch and English;
  • You maintain oversight and ensure everything runs according to plan, from staffing to achieving targets.
