Your workplace

You will be working at Join Program for our client Booking.com. The Booking.com city campus is the new HQ in Amsterdam. From 1 May 2023 over 4,000 Booking.com employees will start working in their new building. As their catering partner, Join Program will provide all F&B services in this amazing office. We will run 3 restaurants, 3 espresso bars, a tea bar, over 40 breakout areas and a huge events department. We’ll make sure our guests enjoy amazing food & drinks each and every day.   
The location is open from Monday to Friday and offers a variety of activities. The event space area is also available at weekends on request.  

The Campus will be opening in May 2023, so we’re looking for employees who are available from April or earlier for an onboarding programme at one of our five existing locations.   You’ll kickstart your job with our three-week onboarding programme, including online e-learning about HACCP procedures and allergies. You’ll be ready to start after these first weeks! You can enjoy a good and healthy lunch every day and we organise teambuilding activities such as a festival, New Year drinks and much more, several times a year.  

Your team

We work with over 150 motivated, international colleagues from all over the world each and every day. We have very diverse teams, with people of all ages, backgrounds and nationalities. We are always looking for people who are eager to learn in an international team, are very motivated to work and are happy to help each other out to do what we do best: serving great food & drinks and delivering top level service with happy people!  Experience is less important than having a good feel for hospitality and food.   

Your job

As Floormanager at Booking.com, Amsterdam | Campus, you are the driving force behind your own restaurant. You manage everything: from preparing lunch and setting up the buffet to placing orders, guiding guests, and handling the administration. Together with your team, you create delicious dishes and drinks daily, surprising guests with new flavors and creative recipes.

During mealtimes, you ensure that your guests have a fantastic experience. With a chat here and there, you create a personal atmosphere and build a connection with the guests. After the service, you handle the administrative tasks, such as placing orders, recording hours, and communicating with the client. When you leave for the day with a sense of accomplishment, you know that your location is in perfect order.

Your ingredients

  • You are an experienced professional with a passion for hospitality and leadership. As a floor manager, you combine organizational talent with a sharp eye for hospitality and quality;
  • You have experience taking full responsibility for a location and feel completely at home in that role;
  • You effortlessly respond to the needs of guests and are always looking for ways to improve the offerings;
  • You are familiar with HACCP, health and safety regulations, and ensure that your restaurant always meets the highest standards;
  • You enjoy having regular guests, a consistent team, and the stability of weekday office hours;
  • At Join Program, you are part of an innovative concept where truly good food is at the heart of everything. You are the cornerstone of your location, where both guests and team members feel welcome and inspired!
