About the concept and team
In this building, you’ll find a contemporary company restaurant, several espresso bars, and meeting rooms. We serve fresh lunches, smoothies, salads, sandwiches, and of course, high-quality coffee. The team is close-knit and diverse: from baristas to chefs and catering staff, all sharing a passion for hospitality and quality. Together, we create a complete experience that fits the dynamic character of Adyen and the city.

Your team
The team, like the location itself, is very new. We work on-site with a team of 25 and use very few temporary workers. Together, we work hard to serve great coffee and a delicious lunch to our guests. Will you come strengthen our fun team?

Your job

Good morning! You start the day with energy and a smile, ready to make a difference as a Floormanager at Adyen, Amsterdam | Oosterdok. Your goal is to ensure every guest leaves with a feeling of satisfaction. When you're on the floor, everything runs smoothly, and you provide optimal service. You are the go-to person for both guests and your team. Not only do you love good food and drinks, but you also create a welcoming atmosphere.

With your passion for hospitality and keen eye for detail, you deliver a unique experience every day. You surprise your guests with a varied menu and an inviting environment that keeps them coming back.

As a Floormanager, you support the hospitality manager wherever needed. You have a clear vision of hospitality and actively contribute ideas about the future of healthy eating. Naturally, you're also involved in daily operations. You ensure the team functions effectively by motivating, guiding, and supporting them. Additionally, you oversee compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.

Your ingredients

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role and know what it takes to lead a successful team.
  • With your knowledge and creativity, you anticipate the needs of various guests and constantly seek innovative ways to evolve and improve.
  • You are well-versed in HACCP, labor, and safety regulations.
  • At Vermaat, safety is the foundation of everything. You ensure our guests can rely on a food-safe environment every day because safety is always your priority.
