Your workplace

The UWV is involved in employment mediation and reintegration. It serves as the public point of contact for citizens and employers when it comes to work, bringing supply and demand together. This is done across 35 regions, including this location in Utrecht.

In addition to being a regular UWV office, this location also functions as a training center. This makes it a very dynamic environment where every day is different. From Vermaat, we provide a sustainable and healthy concept here called “Stek.” Our goal is to be the connecting factor within UWV a place where everyone feels welcome. By optimally facilitating our guests, we create a space people are happy to return to.

Your team

Our team consists of approximately 8 colleagues: an enthusiastic and diverse group that welcomes around 100 guests for lunch every day. We work hard to ensure the team and the new concept truly come into their own. In addition to lunch, we also organize many events and handle a wide range of banqueting activities.

Your job

Good morning! You arrive at your dishwashing area. After a nice cup of coffee and a chat with colleagues, you put on your work clothes; you’re ready to go! You ensure a smoothly running dishwashing area by:

  • Properly rinsing the dishes;
  • Loading the dishwasher;
  • Putting the clean dishes back in the right place;
  • Keeping the dishwashing area clean.

You make sure there are never long queues of dirty dishes. In between, you also like to help colleagues keep the restaurant itself clean and tidy. Before you leave, everything is back in its place and the dishwashing area shines like never before! Colleagues are always happy to have you around because you always keep your cool.

 

Your ingredients

  • We can describe you as a go-getter. By this, we mean that you ensure colleagues never run out of clean dishes. You notice when something needs to be done;
  • You work in an organized manner. You make sure the dishwashing area looks neat and materials are put away in the right place;
  • You are collegial. You like to help colleagues keep the restaurant clean and tidy;
  • You are a stable factor in our dishwashing area;
  • You can provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) upon request.
