Hemel & Aarde is a high-end restaurant with great ambition! Our maître Marco Westra was awarded host of the year at the Gault & Millau Awards and with a score of 14.5, we are one of the best rated restaurants in the province of Utrecht. The cuisine is mainly seasonal with a strong focus on vegetables. Fish and meat have an accompanying role in the menus. Want to learn from the best, in the kitchen or as a host? Your team

In the restaurant, you will work with a team of about 8 colleagues led by maître and SVH Master Host Marco Westra. In the kitchen, you will work with a team of about 12 colleagues led by chef Rene van der Weijden. 

Your job

You enter your sink kitchen. After a nice cup of coffee and a quick chat, you're ready to pop! You ensure a flawlessly running sink kitchen by:

  • Rinsing the dishes properly.
  • Filling the dishwasher.
  • Putting the clean dishes back in the right place.
  • Keeping the sink kitchen clean.

You ensure that there are never meter-long queues of dishes. In between, you also help colleagues keep the restaurant clean and tidy. Before you leave, everything is clean in its place and the sink shines like never before! Colleagues are only too happy to have you around, because you always keep your head above water.

Your ingredients

  • We could describe you as a go-getter. By this we mean that you make sure, for example, that the barista never runs out of clean cups. You see when something needs to be done.
  • You work neatly. You make sure the sink kitchen looks good and the materials are put away in the right place.
  • You are a team player. In between, you like to help colleagues keep the restaurant clean and tidy.
