Welcome to Nike EHQ (European Headquarters)! With over 3,000 Nike employees, a vibrant and dynamic Campus in Hilversum. The Nike EHQ Campus provides Nike employees with all-day F&B moments to make the most of their day. In our vibrant campus environment, we offer the following catering services: 7 Food Outlets serving a wide variety of options for lunch, multiple food trucks, 4 barista bars serving delicious tea and coffee throughout the day, 1 Gym Hub Bar providing employees with fuel after their workout, 8 self-service markets offering food and drinks throughout the day.... Multiple events also take place daily on our campus. 

Your team

The Nike campus has a great team to provide food & beverage services to all places on campus. Together, they ensure that all our guests can enjoy delicious food and drinks in a welcoming and energetic environment! 
 

Your job

At this unique location, you will literally and figuratively showcase our recipes! We work with menu cycles, but need your expertise to present high-quality and healthy dishes to the athletes on Campus! We are happy to give space to your ideas, flavours and recipes. A luxurious sandwich, a crispy salad, a fresh smoothie or a delicious hot dish: you will make something beautiful and tasty out of it. Every day, you challenge yourself to offer guests variety with an eye for detail and knowledge of different cuisines. You are keen on the quality of the products that leave the kitchen and know how to convey this to your immediate colleagues and the service team. We work in full view of our guests, so working and making clean is not an afterthought, but an important part of our working day. 

For lunch, from the outlets on Campus, we work with Join Program's food grid. This is partly prepared fresh by your team at Nike and partly supplied from our central production kitchen in Diemen. For meetings & events, we prepare everything fresh on location. This ranges from nutritious lunches to luxury dinners.   

The team 
16 people, including a Head Chef Meetings and Events and Head Chef Outlets, a sous chef, 3 dishwashers and direct kitchen colleagues. You will report to the Head Chef outlets. 

Your ingredients

  • You have a completed cooking education at MBO level; 
  • You have good knowledge of allergies, dietary requirements, food trends and preparation times, and know how to apply this knowledge intelligently in practice; 
  • You have knowledge of HACCP, working conditions and safety regulations; 
  • You know what is going on in the world of food and drink and like to translate developments and innovations to your kitchen; 
  • You speak Dutch and/or English (pre!); 
  • You are available for 32 hours a week, a full-time (38) role is negotiable at a later stage.
