Infinity, formerly known as ING House, is an iconic and sustainable office building located in Amsterdam’s Zuidas district. Designed by Meyer and Van Schooten, its unique shape—often compared to a shoe or a flat iron—rests on 16 angled steel legs. Today, it serves as a modern multi-tenant office space.

Within this building, Vermaat Group operates corporate restaurants for leading organizations such as IMC (a trading firm), Simon-Kucher (a marketing consultancy), and Lexence (a law and notary firm). On the 3rd, 6th, and 8th floors, we offer a wide selection of fresh, healthy, and sustainable meals. The 3rd floor also features a stylish espresso bar where guests can enjoy an exceptional cup of coffee. Each day, over 450 employees and visitors make use of our hospitality services.

We work exclusively with premium suppliers such as Lindenhoff, Vanille Ventura, and Food to Impress, allowing us to cook with the freshest, most honest, and flavorful ingredients. Our kitchen is fully artisanal—from sauces to pastries, everything is lovingly made in-house with care and passion.

Your team

At Infinity, we work with a relatively large team. Each person has their own area of expertise, which allows us to maintain a high level of service. You’ll be joining a friendly and fairly junior team. The collaboration is great, even though we work on different floors of the building. If you ever have a question, there’s always a colleague ready to help you!

Your job

“Good morning!” You woke up on the right side of the bed and are eager to get started. As a catering employee at Infinity, Amsterdam, you make the restaurant 100% ready for one of the most important moments of the day. You help prepare all the dishes and drinks your guests are looking forward to.

Then it’s mealtime. You welcome the guests in a hospitable manner, as only you can. This allows you to personalize your service! And even better; the guests know you by now too.

After mealtime, you get to work cleaning up and preparing for the rest of the day and tomorrow. Additionally, you make (meeting) people happy with a cup of coffee, a snack, or a drink. Thanks to your friendly service, everyone is very satisfied, and you can go home with a fulfilled feeling.

What we ask for

Ideally, you already have some hospitality experience, but even as an emerging talent, you are welcome with us. You feel at home in the hospitality industry;
You know that working in hospitality can be physically demanding;
You always go the extra mile, especially when it comes to hospitality and service;
Love goes through the stomach when it comes to food and drinks;
At Vermaat, safety is fundamental. Our guests can count on a food-safe environment because you take it seriously every day;
You can provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) upon request.
