Coty, a leading company in cosmetic products with some of the most renowned brands like Gucci, Hugo Boss, and David Beckham, offers an inviting experience. Our restaurant welcomes 200 guests daily, serving a variety of hot lunch dishes, salads, soups, and an extensive bread buffet. Additionally, we have a coffee bar offering delicious coffee creations. Alongside our regular lunch and coffee services, we also host various banqueting and event services, ensuring our Food & Beverage offerings meet the needs of these occasions. Coty's opening hours are from 07:30 to 16:00.
Your team
Coty has a team of eight colleagues, including a manager, a head chef, a banqueting manager, catering staff, a barista, and a dishwasher.
Your job
As a Barista at Coty, Amsterdam, you start each morning with a smile and a fresh dose of energy. You are responsible for preparing a variety of coffee drinks, from a perfect espresso to a silky latte. But you do more than just make coffee: you create a warm, welcoming atmosphere, advise guests on their choices, and occasionally surprise them with new flavors.
In addition to your role at the coffee machine, you assist with restocking supplies, keeping the bar in order, and maintaining the coffee machines. You are the coffee specialist that guests love to return to.
Your ingredients
- Experience as a barista or bar assistant is a plus, but your passion and eagerness to learn are just as important.
- A proactive, guest-oriented attitude: you go the extra mile to create a memorable experience for guests.
- Basic knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and milk frothing—or the motivation to learn this with us.
- Attention to detail and hygiene: you ensure everything is always clean and spotless.
- Flexibility and willingness to work varying shifts, including weekdays or when events are taking place.
