Banqueting manager WTC Amsterdam

As a banqueting manager at WTC, Amsterdam, you will be involved in the entire event process: from creative concept development and planning to execution and guest relations. You enjoy coming up with innovative activations that resonate with our target audience as well as the guests who visit us on a daily basis.

But that’s not all. You also enjoy being actively involved in the day-to-day operation. You support the team where needed and are happy to step in flexibly to ensure everything runs smoothly.

In addition, you are a natural leader who knows how to motivate and inspire others in a positive and approachable way. You are available during weekdays and have the flexibility to organize your schedule around the needs of the business. In everything you do, you demonstrate a strong sense of ownership: you take initiative, think ahead, and ensure the team and operation remain perfectly aligned.

• You have at least 3 years of relevant hospitality experience, a completed relevant qualification, and experience leading a team.
• You have proven experience in a professional hospitality environment, preferably within banqueting and/or events.
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written. If you are still developing one of these languages, this is considered a plus.
• You are proactive, well-organised and able to keep an overview, even in a fast-paced environment.
• You have an open and approachable attitude, communicate with ease and know how to switch gears quickly.
• You know how to motivate, inspire and coach your team to achieve the best results together.
• Going the extra mile comes naturally to you.
• You have a passion for hospitality and believe great food and drinks create memorable guest experiences.
