Your workplace

EMA is an international company focusing on the supervision of pharmaceuticals within the EU. The premises are located on the Zuidas in Amsterdam in the impressive Vivalige building. It is an international workplace where the working language is English. It is a high-end location with luxury appeal. The building has three outlets including the restaurant, coffee bar and Skylounge. In the restaurant, you serve breakfast and a luxury hot lunch, for around 800 guests a day. We also provide banqueting, so it can get pretty busy. The premises at EMA are open 24/7 and the kitchen between 07:00 - 16:00.

You will quickly get to know the guests you receive on a daily basis. This allows you to respond well to their (dietary) requirements and, together with the fantastic team, make everyone happy. EMA is easily accessible both by car and public transport.

Your job

As a banquet manager, your enthusiasm and drive empower you to motivate your team, ensuring seamless daily banqueting operations. You guide and support them in their daily tasks, creating a perfect guest experience through personalized attention and service orientation. But that’s not all—your critical eye and perfectionism drive you to strive for an even better outcome every day.

As a banquet manager, you play a crucial role in collaborating with clients and external parties. You excel at translating their needs into operational solutions and providing valuable advice. Your challenge lies in working with your team to deliver the best product efficiently, guaranteeing an optimal guest experience. And that’s what brings you joy!
