Your workplace

Welcome to Yamaha, the European headquarters where various nationalities work together in a dynamic and international environment. Every day, we welcome approximately between 150 and 200 guests. Our varied menu offers everything from freshly made sandwiches to hot meals to meet the needs of our diverse workforce. We also provide banqueting, which can vary from week to week depending on planned events and meetings. The working environment is professional but welcoming, with a strong focus on teamwork and quality.

Your team

The team at Yamaha consists of five dedicated colleagues who work closely together to provide excellent service. The atmosphere within the team is warm and supportive, with everyone always willing to lend a hand. Together, we ensure that every guest feels welcome and enjoys their meal. Our mutual cooperation and willingness to support each other ensure that we get the best out of ourselves and our service every day.

Your job

Good morning! You've got out of bed on the right foot and feel like having a blast.
You get the restaurant 100% ready for one of the most important moments of the day: lunch. You help prepare the buffet so that there is something tasty for everyone.

Then it's lunch time! You see the guests and all kinds of other colleagues who want to have a nice lunch. You welcome the guests with your open, enthusiastic and interested personality. And even better, the guests know you by now. In between, you help with the cash register or banqueting. Because of your friendly service, everyone is very satisfied and you have received some big compliments.

Your ingredients

  • You have experience in catering and feel at home in a hospitality environment.
  • You know that working in the catering industry can be quite physically demanding. 
  • You have some experience in making great coffees. You are a certified barista or would like to become one.
  • You always go the extra mile. Especially when it comes to hospitality and service.
  • You work 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday for 6 hours a day.
  • Love goes through the stomach when it comes to food & drink.
  • At Vermaat, safety is in the foundation. Our guests can count on a food-safe environment because you take it seriously every day.
