About La Place
La Place has been around since 1987, and you can feel it. From the very beginning, we were a bit unconventional: a restaurant where you can see your food being made, where everything is prepared fresh and pure, right in front of you. What you see is what you get. And as it turns out, good and honest food is timeless. Even in today’s fast-paced world, people continue to crave flavourful, fresh, and convenient food. That is exactly why La Place makes this experience accessible to everyone. We want to share our love for truly good food. We call it “love at first bite.”

What I like most about my job? Working with food, the contact with guests, and the friendly atmosphere among colleagues. At La Place Heerhugowaard, we have a small team, which creates a very personal and warm environment. What I also really appreciate is that I can easily combine my work with my family life. I work three days a week and have young children. If I ever need to swap a shift, my colleagues are always there to help. We support each other, trust one another, and make it enjoyable together.
