We are a recognized training company and offer educational and fun internship opportunities year-round for both MBO (vocational education) students (BOL and BBL) and HBO (higher professional education) students. As a fast-growing organization with over 500 locations, there is always an internship that suits you. You can intern in areas such as company catering, the leisure sector, airports, hospitals, or at our service office. Whether you're looking for a hands-on or management internship, you will find a tailor-made opportunity at Vermaat. During your internship, you will be personally mentored by an experienced hospitality professional. Have you successfully completed your internship? We offer an internship allowance of €550 (based on 40 hours) per 4-week period. Additionally, you can have lunch for an average of €1.50 per working day, receive discounts on your health insurance through Zilveren Kruis or VGZ, and enjoy great discounts via Benefits@work.

For most positions, such as hospitality staff, we primarily look for your enthusiasm, presentation, and motivation. Experience is a plus, but definitely not a requirement. Even without work experience in hospitality, you're more than welcome to apply! Thanks to our onboarding program and personal guidance, you'll learn all the ins and outs of the job. For positions such as cook or manager, we usually look for candidates with a few years of experience. The specific requirements for these roles are always listed in the job description.

The minimum age to work with us is 16. Due to legislation, you are not allowed to work at all times or perform all tasks at this age. As a result, you may not be able to work at every Vermaat location, depending on the opening hours and the required availability. If this applies, we will contact you to explore suitable options together. From the age of 18, you can work at any time and perform all tasks.

The working hours vary by location and are always listed in the job posting. For example, in company catering, you usually work during office hours and weekdays. At La Place or in a leisure location, thanks to the extended opening hours, you can often work in the evenings and on weekends. So there's something for everyone!
